Key Objectives

The Centre for Issue and Crisis Management (CICM) has five key objectives:

  1. Broaden the scope of reputation management to include geostrategic insights and important scientific and technology developments.
  2. Provide services and training to ensure clients develop the necessary capabilities to defend, secure and develop their reputations within a knowledge economy.
  3. Formulate critical insights relating to global risks and security issues linked to brand development, operations and protecting investments.
  4. Develop executives’ mindsets through leadership and critical thinking skills, thereby improving decision-making.
  5. Introduce risk consulting, security and training services to those businesses and NGOs who may not have previously considered such services or formally developed a reputation strategy.
